Repertoire
There is no specific repertoire required to participate in this competition. Each performer has the freedom to determine which piece or pieces to perform. The selected piece could be drawn from a standard repertoire, composed by a living composer. The chosen piece will not affect the jury’s decision-making process. Singers may choose repertoire in any language.
*Instrumental applicants are required to submit one piece or one movement (e.g., concerto or sonata).
*Vocal applicants can submit maximum three songs.
It is recommended to perform from memory.
While the official time limit for performance video submissions is 12 minutes, participants may submit recordings exceeding this duration. However, please be advised that it is at the jury's discretion to evaluate only the first 12 minutes of any performance video that surpasses the stipulated time limit. Adjudicators are not obligated to review the portion of the recording beyond the 12-minute mark.
Works requiring accompaniment should be performed and filmed with live accompaniment as the score requires.
Piano or harpsichord are acceptable accompaniment instruments.
Only works originally composed for solo instruments (player alone) can be submitted without accompaniment.

Guidelines for Recording
● Use a fixed point of view for your camera with you being the main focus. Shoot straight on, leaving the camera in one location. Do not pan or move the camera. Camera should be no closer than waist up.
● Ensure recording captures good quality image and sound. Check for good balance and blend.
● Make sure there is 1-3 seconds of silence before the beginning of the piece.
● Vocal applicants can record each of their two or three songs as separate takes. However, all three recorded songs must be compiled and submitted as a single, continuous video file.
● No sound enhancements are allowed.
● Hands and fingers must be visible.
● Save and name your files individually with their titles.
A single, distinguished Grand Prize of $1000 will be awarded to one outstanding participant across all age and instrument categories.
Awards
Awards will be granted at the following levels within each age and instrument category:
1st Place
2nd Place

Honorable Mention
For all prizes (Grand, 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place, and Honorable Mention winners), recipients will be awarded an official e-certification, which will be delivered electronically via email.
Expert jury of professors and professional musicians evaluates all participants. Each student receives valuable commentaries and an assessment based on four achievement tiers: Excellent, High Merit, Merit, and Encouragement. Every participant is awarded an e-certificate indicating their achieved level.
For recipients located within the United States who wish to receive a physical, printed copy of their certificate, this can be requested for an additional fee of $50 USD.
